Overview
Mission-Critical Modernization
The Naval Air Servicing Development Organization (NASDO) plays a critical role in ensuring the readiness and sustainment of naval air assets. Given the complexity, sensitivity, and operational importance of its functions, NASDO sought to modernize and automate its servicing and development workflows to improve efficiency, accuracy, traceability, and data security.
With our deep experience in developing complex bespoke systems for high-stakes environments, we were selected to design and implement a secure, end-to-end automation solution tailored to NASDO’s operational needs.

Project Summary
NASDOOR
Duration: 9 Months
The Challenge
NASDO’s legacy processes were largely manual, involving paper-based workflows, disjointed data systems spanning various divisions, and limited audit capabilities. The Navy required:
- Full digital automation of servicing development workflows
- Real-time collaboration and approvals across departments
- Enforced audit trails for every user action
- Data security and access control at the highest military-grade standards
- Integration with existing defense systems and protocols
Our Mission:
Build a cyber-hardened system that could:
- Our Mission: Build a cyber-hardened system that could:
- Automate complex approvals without sacrificing control.
- Track every action like a forensic ledger.
- Integrate seamlessly with existing defense IT ecosystems.

Our Solution
A three-phase execution blending agility with military precision:
1. System Analysis & Design (3 Months)
- We began with an intensive discovery phase involving stakeholders across engineering,
maintenance, security, and command units. Using a combination of process mapping, threat
modeling, and user interviews, we designed a secure, role-based system architecture aligned with
NASDO’s unique workflows. - Deliverables included:– Threat-modeled architecture (DoD STIGs/RMF compliant).
– Data flow maps for seamless integration with naval systems.
2. Development (4 Months)
The platform was developed using a secure, modular architecture designed for extensibility and resilience. Core components included:
- Workflow Engine: Automates end-to-end servicing processes with conditional routing and approvals
- Audit Trail Module: Tracks and logs every action, change, and access with tamper-proof logs
- Access Control System: Enforces least privilege with multi-factor authentication and role-based permissions
- Secure Data Layer: Utilizes encryption at rest and in transit, with full compliance to CERT-IN standards and various guidelines from MoD.
3. Implementation & Rollout (2 Months)
Following a staged deployment strategy:
- User training and documentation were delivered to all departments
- System integration testing was conducted with live data
- Security validation and clearance assessments passed with full compliance
- System went live with zero downtime and full user adoption within two months
